Unlocal Beer Company
Unlocal Beer Company is a new craft beer taproom bringing an original experience to craft beer consumption, with plans to open in May 2020. All of the beer sold at Unlocal is new to Milwaukee, made by small breweries around the country. Unlocal Beer Company will be the first taproom in Milwaukee to exclusively serve craft beer from outside Wisconsin.
Every small brewery in the country has a geographical distribution restriction which has caused an increased demand for local beer nationwide. Visiting local breweries is a trending tourist activity, and the rise of craft beer consumer knowledge has a proportionate increase in craft beer sales in bars. Unlocal Beer Company is making small town brews accessible to the vibrant craft beer community in Milwaukee.
The funds raised from investors will be used for the renovations of the taproom, equipment purchases, and provide working capital to open the taproom.

Building a Community Space for Strength and Resiliency Training
Mouth + Muscle is a Milwaukee based social entrepreneurship initiative whose mission is to help individuals and teams build resiliency and address critical change through fitness and culinary education and events. The initiative works with local businesses and community partners to provide structured training in leadership, strength sports, cooking and nutrition, as well as a shared community space for events and continuing education. One specific program, Goal Diggers: Strong Not Scared, aims to address trauma experienced by women in the community through the therapeutic modality of strength and culinary training and social engagement.
Mouth + Muscle was created by Dr. Claire Menck (www.clairemenck.com). Dr. Menck is a food and social justice activist, competitive powerlifter and holds a PhD in Leadership & Change from Antioch University. She also has over 35 years of experience in the food service industry as a chef, entrepreneur and culinary educator. We are seeking community partnerships and funding to help purchase equipment, build our network, establish our facility and assist in administrative activities
